M.A.D.E to Evangelize!!!

This month has been nothing but amazing, to just learn more about how to evangelize to God's people. It excites me that I am learning the different styles and ways to reach His people like He intended us to do. Also, I'm learning that when we take our minds off of ourselves and push pass our comfort zones, we can see more of other people's needs.

Sunday, Apostle Karen McNair message was "Light it Up", Evangelism is taking the time to tell someone the good news about Jesus. She proceeds to let us know that we are the light in this dark world. God is stretching us so that He can use us to bring the nations to Him through the light He placed inside of us. In order to evangelism the right way, we must know who we are in God. To light it up, means to resist the culture of the world, stop hiding who Jesus is, and letting God change us from the inside/out.

During Bible empowerment we learned the way Jesus evangelized in John 4 to the Samaritan woman at the well. I love how she pointed out how Jesus had to be spontaneous and quick with it. Sometimes, God will place us in certain places, and we have to be ready because people out here are really looking for Jesus. By Jesus living in us, we should be quick on our feet to tell others about Him.

This week, I've noticed the people that I am around at work will start simple conversations with me, but then the conversations get deeper, the opportunity of evangelism becomes more prevalent. I'm noticing now more than before that they are really looking to know more about Jesus, and because we are the light, we are equipped to let the Holy Spirit flow through us.

Simple advice, let your light shine so that others can experience Jesus Christ for themselves. I believe that there are so many people who have gotten off track or just don't know about Jesus but they are ready to be at peace in their lives.
