Sunday's messages were about love.
(Romans 5:5-8)
"The love of God is key 🔑"
Apostle John McNair preached a good message on love, explaining that love is what brings everyone together. Also, because God loves us, He still processes us for our next. While in the process, we can seek after things God has already taken care of. #TrustTheProcess Yes, we are fighting through our process but that's where His peace comes in to settle our minds. To have peace with God comes through having a relationship with Jesus Christ. God's love is meant to bring unity within the culture. He broke it down so simply; he gave us three main points.
God's love is poured
God's love is sacrificed
God's love is demonstrated
Then, he closed us out with justification and sanctification. We are justified through faith, so we don't have to feel condemned. Lastly, God's love is sanctified which reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice He made for us. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
(John 3:16)
Encouragement:
I'm learning that God is a God of order, and in Mark 12:30-31 He explains the order of love. Also, I'm learning that God gives us these commandments so that we build relationships with Him so that we can understand who we are in Him. Our process is not in vain.
Whatever you're experiencing at this moment is just God's way of molding you in love. That pain, fear, or rejection you're feeling isn't of God. He wants you to be happy, He wants you to be at peace, and He wants you to be whole. Let us learn how to love His way so we can let go of the weight and burdens that hold us back from reaching our full potential.
